Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • commitment to making an impact
  • ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for long periods up to four hours
  • ability to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in hot and damp environments
  • ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • possession of finger and hand dexterity
  • ability to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings and masks throughout entire shifts
  • ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies
  • ability to wash hands frequently with disinfecting soap

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a food preparation or cooking role is an asset
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • basic math skills for measuring ingredients

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and quality guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
  • assist in inventory management and stock supplies
  • adhere to all safety protocols and wear protective equipment
  • contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
