Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Commitment to maintaining high food safety standards
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and tools

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience in fine dining or similar setting preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for fine-dining restaurant and other culinary program areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with culinary team to develop and execute menu items
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage practices
  • Manage ingredient inventory and minimize waste
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
