Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in food preparation and banquet service preferred
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and maintain stamina
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to operate kitchen machinery such as slicers, grinders, and mixers
Strong sanitation and safety awareness
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or banquet setting preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow recipes and standards accurately
Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role

Job Duties

Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
Set up station with predetermined method place required to service all banquet functions
Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction
Consult with Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, or Sous Chef on a daily basis as well as with other departments that are directly related to the Food and Beverage Department
Participate in long range planning
Participate, support and make recommendations for ongoing hotel programs with continuous improvement in networking
