Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food preparation and banquet service preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and maintain stamina
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to operate kitchen machinery such as slicers, grinders, and mixers
  • Strong sanitation and safety awareness
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen or banquet setting preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and standards accurately
  • Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • Set up station with predetermined method place required to service all banquet functions
  • Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction
  • Consult with Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, or Sous Chef on a daily basis as well as with other departments that are directly related to the Food and Beverage Department
  • Participate in long range planning
  • Participate, support and make recommendations for ongoing hotel programs with continuous improvement in networking
