Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred
2 to 5 years of cooking experience on a fast-paced line working all stations
Valid Food Handlers Card for applicable states including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia
Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards strictly
Ability to work Monday through Sunday during specified hours
Reliable and committed to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic English proficiency required, Spanish communication skills beneficial

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Manage all assigned cooking stations including set up, stocking, cooking, and presenting dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
Ensure only fresh, high-quality ingredients are used in food preparation
Maintain recipe adherence and display the proper recipe on the monitor during cooking
Follow food safety procedures, clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and tools
Use personal protective equipment appropriately and maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines
Demonstrate knowledge of cooking equipment startup, shutdown, and maintenance
Keep the workstation clean and organized at all times
Alert the chef team immediately to any product, equipment, or food safety concerns
Provide guest-focused service and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Communicate effectively in English and Spanish where applicable
Exhibit traits of trust, passion, humility, and graciousness as a team player
Build lasting professional relationships based on trust and respect
Create a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere
