Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work in a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a kitchen or cooking role preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Teamwork skills and good communication
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and standards while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during high activity periods
