Job Requirements

  • Prior grill cook or cooking experience is required
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
  • ability to follow federal, state, and company food safety regulations
  • ability to perform physical tasks required in kitchen work environment
  • commitment to safety protocols including wearing protective gloves and appropriate footwear
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and order in work area
  • eligibility to work in the location specified
  • acceptable completion of application process including any background checks or screenings

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures food and supplies are properly stored
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control, and follows HACCP standards
  • commits personally to safety and abides by company policies and procedures including use of protective gear and proper lifting techniques
  • performs other duties as assigned
