  • prior food preparation experience in a scratch kitchen
  • ability to follow recipes accurately
  • strong communication skills in English
  • availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

  • ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensuring ingredients and final products are fresh
  • ensuring all food and other items are stored properly
  • following recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • following prep lists
  • labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • preparing ingredients for cooking by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc
  • operating equipment following safety standards
