Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand and walk on hard floors up to 12 hours a day
- Frequent stooping, squatting, reaching overhead and handling various food products
- Ability to use safety equipment and follow safety procedures
- Availability to work various shifts as assigned
- Must adhere to company operating standards and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow detailed cooking procedures and recipes
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Sets up the batter table and prepares batter mix
- Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used
- Checks all equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge
- Color balances fryers and adds sufficient shortening
- Filters and cleans fryers according to safety guidelines
- Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepares and cooks all food products according to business needs and Manager's direction
- Ensures all food products meet specifications and quality standards
- Maintains clean work area by practicing clean-as-you-go
- Verifies product and supplies are stocked at the batter area
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of the cooler
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge
