Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification in applicable states
At least one year of cooking experience preferred
Ability to read and understand English
Strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
Willingness to work Sunday through Thursday
Availability to work 6:00 am to 2:30 pm shifts

Job Qualifications

Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work in Utah and Idaho
One or more years of experience as a Cook preferred
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safe food handling techniques
Understanding of workflow, prioritization, and deadlines
Ability to provide exceptional customer service preferred
Experience with modified diet food preparation preferred
Experience with commercial cooking equipment preferred

Job Duties

Prepares and cooks food items
Serves customers in catering, retail, or patient care settings
Follows recipes and instructions accurately
Prepares bulk food, specialty meals, and catered items
Maintains an organized and sanitary work environment
Ensures proper food production quantities with rotation
Delivers patient meals, handles cashier duties, stocks supplies, and operates ware-washing machines
