Job Requirements

  • Be in good physical condition to work on feet for extended periods
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly using proper safe lifting techniques
  • Must read, speak, and communicate in English
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, overtime or as business levels dictate
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards set by Regional Health District
  • Calm and organized when busy
  • Share vision and support of Twigs' management team
  • Able to cook fast enough to keep up with service pace
  • Adhere to all Twigs policies
  • Must have good follow through

  • Culinary experience
  • Food safety and sanitation training that meet Regional Health District standards
  • Effective in daily organization, planning, and time management

Job Duties

  • Follow all plating and presentations with appropriate garnishes and components
  • Arrange knives safely away from cutting board
  • Keep work area free of clutter
  • Gather utensils and equipment for station
  • Finish prep list from morning
  • Ensure fryer, broiler, griddle, salamander, oven, and steam table are at proper temperatures
  • Make sure dinner breakdown is completely put away and proper
  • Assist other areas as needed or when directed
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards during shift
  • Wipe down and sanitize work area
  • Turn off equipment at end of shift
  • Ensure all food is properly covered and stored
  • Check with Chef or supervisor before leaving
  • Punch out in uniform daily
