Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum of 1 year related cooking experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, twist for extended periods
- Ability to work with sharp knives and hot equipment
- Ability to work in hot kitchen environments
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices
- Experience in high-volume or casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend instructions and converse effectively
- Familiarity with soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation techniques
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods across multiple stations including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg stations
- Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving food items
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to managers and servers
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure, mix ingredients, and prepare fruits and vegetables
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of products to ensure food safety
