The role of Cook 1 at Invited represents an entry-level position within the culinary team, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start or advance their careers in the hospitality and service industry. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, folding and unfolding
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
- Sufficient visual acuity
- Availability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
- Compliance with company, club, and department policies and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of kitchen environment experience preferred
- Valid Food Handler Certification per state and city regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Commitment to professionalism and excellence in service
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Set-up, execute daily prep tasks, and organize workstation efficiently
- Prepare and store food items according to Invited’s standards
- Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent presentation of menu items
- Receive and store purchased goods
- Manage condiments, dressings, salsa, and soups
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen
- Communicate with Chef regarding food quality and product needs
- Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating special requests
- Support team environment and contribute to positive workplace culture
- Address and resolve member and guest complaints, notifying management as needed
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
