Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience
  • Valid food handler certification as required
  • Ability to stand and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Capacity to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • Capability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend as required
  • Visual acuity sufficient for the work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Valid food handler certifications as required by state and city regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Set up and organize workstation efficiently
  • Prepare and store all food items required for the station following standards
  • Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent food preparation
  • Receive and store goods according to kitchen requests
  • Manage condiments, dressings, salsa, and soups usage
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen
  • Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef about food quality or presentation issues
  • Interact professionally with members and guests accommodating requests
  • Support fellow employees and foster positive team environment
  • Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
