Job Requirements
- One year of experience as a cook in a commercial food service facility
- or possession of a Certificate of Completion in culinary arts and/or Foods and Hospitality Service from a certified community college or technical school
- ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during busy periods
- ability to prioritize duties
Job Qualifications

- experience preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a high-volume kitchen

- exhibition cooking experience

Job Duties
- Prepare daily specials and entrees in the kitchen
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- keep accurate records of food preparation and inventory
- oversee and direct Food Service Worker 2 staff and student employees
- develop daily work plans for assigned kitchen areas
- monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation according to HACCP guidelines
- provide ongoing training to kitchen staff and student employees
