Job Description
Homestead, nestled in the scenic Wasatch Mountains in Midway, is a historic and reimagined four-season destination set across nearly 190 acres of stunning natural beauty. Recognized for its iconic geothermal crater, championship golf course, and year-round outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and fly fishing, this resort blends heritage charm with modern hospitality. The property features newly renovated accommodations alongside diverse dining experiences that cater to a wide range of guest preferences. Its serene environment not only offers a relaxing retreat but also serves as an adventure hub, making it an inspiring place for hospitality professionals seeking to grow, innovate, and provide memorable guest experiences.
Davidson Hospitality Group, the parent company managing Homestead, is an award-winning, full-service hospitality management firm overseeing hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues across the United States. Trusted by renowned brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Marriott, and Margaritaville, Davidson emphasizes an entrepreneurial management style combined with an owner’s mentality. This fosters personalized service complemented by the extensive expertise of a large company. Davidson Hospitality Group operates through four specialized verticals: Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts, and Davidson Restaurant Group, each focused on delivering exceptional value and service.
The role of Catering Coordinator at Homestead offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about planning and executing exceptional events. This position involves coordinating all facets of catering events from the initial inquiry through to the post-event follow-up. The Catering Coordinator works closely with clients to understand and fulfill their event needs, offering personalized service throughout the process. Key responsibilities include assisting with menu planning that accommodates dietary restrictions, coordinating logistics with banquet, culinary, and audiovisual teams, and managing event timelines and contracts to ensure seamless execution.
The ideal candidate will excel in providing outstanding customer service, promptly and professionally addressing client inquiries and concerns. They will contribute directly to the sales and catering teams’ success by aiming to meet or exceed revenue goals. The coordinator also prepares event orders, setup sheets, and other essential documentation, ensuring that every event is planned and executed with precision. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working at Homestead and Davidson Hospitality Group means being part of a dynamic team dedicated to redefining the hospitality experience. The company fosters a culture of innovation, growth, and excellence, offering a rich benefits package that supports the well-being of its employees and their families. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional eager to create unforgettable experiences in a stunning, natural setting with a reputable and supportive employer.
