We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Convention Services Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will be instrumental in driving catering and food and beverage sales, working closely with meeting planners and event clients to create unforgettable celebrations. As a Convention Services Manager, you will manage the coordination and execution of events, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and company standards. This position is overtime eligible, reflecting the varied and engaging nature of event management, and offers the opportunity to grow your career within the hospitality industry.

Your responsibilities will include surpassing sales targets, fostering strong client relationships through proactive communication and personalized service, and participating actively in the local community to position the hotel as a premier event destination. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services to meet revenue goals, maintain high guest satisfaction, and support seamless hotel operations. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage or events
Professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing desired
Valid driver’s license for the applicable state required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and present effectively

Job Duties

Drive catering and food and beverage sales to meet and exceed targets

Collaborate with sales directors to achieve revenue goals
Participate in key meetings to support smooth hotel operations
Address and manage additional tasks as assigned by management
