Join our dynamic team as a Convention Services Manager where you will be at the center of creating unforgettable events and driving the success of our hotel's catering and food and beverage services. Our establishment is a renowned hotel known for its exceptional commitment to guest satisfaction and memorable event experiences. As part of a vibrant hospitality environment, the Convention Services Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the client experience and boosting sales performance. This full-time, overtime eligible manager (OEM) position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in event management and sales while contributing to the growth and reputation of our hotel.

In this role, you will act as the heartbeat of our catering and convention services, working closely with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services to achieve ambitious revenue goals. Your primary focus will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, clients, and groups, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly and leaves a lasting impression. Your ability to manage and anticipate the needs of clients and guests will be key to making every celebration extraordinary.

Your daily responsibilities will include driving food and beverage sales while maintaining excellent guest relations, tracking market trends to introduce innovative ideas, and managing banquet operations with precision. You will be a community connector, engaging clients in local events and activities to enrich their experience, as well as an ultimate team player who fosters a positive atmosphere among guests and colleagues. The role demands strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities to keep the hotel running smoothly and exceed clients' expectations.

As a Convention Services Manager, you will not only contribute to the financial success of the hotel but also advance your career in the hospitality industry by honing professional selling skills and event management techniques. Our competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan, ensures that those who join us can thrive professionally and personally. Embrace the opportunity to be a key player in an environment that values innovation, teamwork, and outstanding service. Step into a role where your efforts transform ordinary events into extraordinary celebrations that guests and clients will cherish forever.
