Legends Global is the premier partner to the world's greatest live events, venues, and brands. Renowned for delivering a fully integrated solution of premium services through a white-label approach, Legends Global maintains an extensive network of 450 venues worldwide. This network hosts 20,000 events annually and entertains 165 million guests each year. The company excels in a wide spectrum of services including feasibility and consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content and booking of world-class live events and venues. Legends Global prides itself on a culture built on respect, ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold action. The organization is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every team member can be authentic, create impact, and advance their career. The company believes in winning every day by emphasizing teamwork and unified success across all departments.

The Convention Center Sales Manager role at Legends Global represents a pivotal position within the Sales department, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. This salaried exempt position offers a competitive compensation range from $70,304 to $80,000. The primary responsibility is to sell the Ontario Convention Center for events that typically expect 500 people or less, including all catering events with fewer than 150 room nights. The role requires actively engaging with the community to prospect for new business opportunities, thoroughly understanding client needs, and matching those with the Ontario Convention Center and City of Ontario’s capabilities. Success in this role hinges on the ability to achieve 100 percent of all sales, booking, and activity goals.

In addition to selling, the Convention Center Sales Manager is required to cultivate and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the center’s facilities and competitive advantages. This knowledge must be actively leveraged to effectively position the center as the premier destination versus alternative venues. Responsibilities also include documenting client interactions meticulously, conducting site tours, preparing written and oral sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The role calls for consistent follow-up with leads, attending local industry meetings and tradeshows, and contributing to promotional events and special projects. Candidates will need strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Physical requirements include the capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, and working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. This role provides an excellent career growth opportunity within a global leader in the live events and venue management space, offering exposure to a vibrant community and a team driven towards excellence and innovation.
