Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Controls Technician will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing CPP’s automated control systems and equipment to ensure steady production and minimal downtime.

In this role, the Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex automated control systems, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32 to $36, dependent on experience, along with ample opportunities for overtime. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical and electronic schematics, and to troubleshoot equipment ranging from 24 DC volts up to 480 AC volts is essential.
