Job Description
AIT Worldwide Logistics is a global transportation company specializing in final mile logistics and residential delivery services across the United States. The company is renowned for offering professional, reliable, and customer-focused logistics solutions that ensure goods are delivered safely and with exceptional service quality. Established as a leader in the logistics space, AIT integrates advanced technology and operational expertise to provide seamless delivery experiences from warehouse to home. Their strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service has made them a preferred partner for companies requiring white-glove delivery and in-home support services. Working with AIT means joining an extensive network of independent contractors and professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism throughout the delivery process.
AIT Worldwide Logistics is currently seeking reliable and motivated independent contractors to handle equipment delivery and in-home setup services. This opportunity is ideal for owner-operators who own a cargo van, sprinter van, or covered box truck, and who take pride in providing outstanding customer service and safe deliveries. As an independent contractor, you will be offering final mile delivery and setup services that include picking up equipment from local warehouses, completing residential delivery routes, and performing basic in-home placement without assembly. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working independently and who excel at creating positive customer experiences with clear communication and professional demeanor.
The position follows a 1099 contractor model, offering flexible arrangements tailored to fit your schedule while providing the potential to earn a significant income ranging from $40,000 to $100,000 or more annually. Earnings depend on factors such as delivery volume, geographic location, and the number of contracts accepted. Settlements are processed weekly, providing consistent and timely payment. Key responsibilities include assisting with simple Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection setups when necessary and using smartphone apps for completing confirmations, logging services, and communicating route information.
This role emphasizes the importance of strong communication skills, the ability to handle technology with ease, and the physical ability to lift and move equipment weighing between 50 to 75 pounds safely. Experience in final mile delivery, moving, or in-home service work is essential for success, while experience with equipment setup or white-glove delivery services is considered a valuable asset. The company seeks contractors who can provide exceptional customer service by explaining equipment use clearly and ensuring the customer’s satisfaction at the time of delivery and setup. Working with AIT not only offers a flexible, rewarding work environment but also the chance to be part of a network that prioritizes safety, trustworthiness, and quality in every delivery made. Joining AIT enables you to grow your business with a reputable logistics partner and build lasting relationships through consistent and professional service.
