Job Description

HHS, formerly known as Hospital Housekeeping Systems, is the nation’s leading boutique healthcare support service provider. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering the highest quality service and hospitality to its hospital partners, focusing on patient-centered and performance-driven management approaches. Over the years, HHS has grown steadily, largely through positive references, and currently offers a comprehensive range of services including housekeeping, culinary services, patient flow management, linen utilization management, facilities management, and clinical engineering services. With its commitment to excellence, HHS supports a wide network of hospitals and healthcare providers by enhancing operational efficiency and elevating the overall patient experience.

HHS is currently seeking dedicated Patient Transporters to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis. These positions are available across various shifts, including day, evening, and night, providing flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules. Patient transportation is a crucial function within hospital operations, directly impacting patient safety, care quality, and overall satisfaction. HHS’s patient transport services emphasize safety and hospitality, utilizing proprietary programs such as the Bed Watch Transport Control system to maximize efficiency and reduce unnecessary downtime.

As a Patient Transporter at HHS, individuals will be responsible for safely moving patients as well as patient-related equipment throughout the hospital facility. This role demands more than just physical effort; it requires excellent communication skills, cooperation, patience, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Patient Transporters play a pivotal role in creating a positive atmosphere for both patients and hospital staff by adhering to high standards of professionalism and care. The role is vital in maintaining smooth hospital operations and ensuring patients receive timely and courteous assistance during their hospital stay.

Candidates must be prepared to work in an environment where exposure to communicable diseases and safety hazards is possible, making adherence to strict safety and infection control procedures essential. Continuous education is a key component of this role, with ongoing training requirements set by both the hospital and HHS to keep skills updated and maintain compliance.

Successful candidates will need to pass a background check, E-verify, and drug screening as part of the hiring process. HHS values diversity and is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace. This Patient Transporter role offers competitive benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401K plans, short-term disability, voluntary life insurance, and paid time off for eligible employees. This comprehensive benefits package supports the well-being and financial security of HHS employees.

Working at HHS means being part of a company dedicated to improving hospital service quality, patient safety, and operational excellence. The Patient Transporter role is ideal for individuals seeking a meaningful job in healthcare support, combining physical activity with patient interaction and teamwork. HHS invites those passionate about healthcare and eager to contribute to a patient-centered environment to apply and become part of their dynamic team.
