Together Women's Health Imaging Center is currently seeking a Contingent Receptionist to provide crucial support for scheduling and patient relations, particularly to cover Saturdays, vacations, or evening shifts. This TEMPORARY position plays a vital role as the first point of contact between patients and the healthcare providers. The Receptionist acts as a brand ambassador by delivering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for excellent patient care. Responsibilities include greeting patients with a friendly demeanor, accurately updating insurance information, and managing the Electronic Health Record system to streamline patient registration and ongoing care processes. The Receptionist coordinates scheduling for multiple office sites and diagnostic departments, ensuring efficient appointment management. This role demands strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy medical office setting. Exceptional communication skills are essential, both on the phone and in-person, as the Receptionist often handles inquiries and appointment requests through various channels. Candidates with previous experience in customer service or medical office environments are preferred, although newly graduated receptionists from relevant programs are welcome to apply. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience

Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required
- 1 year previous medical office experience preferred
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Must be detailed orientated and have the ability to multitask
Job Duties
- Greeting every patient with a smile
- Completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency
- Utilizing the Electronic Health Record system to complete the registration process and facilitate the patients' visit
- Completing the check out process by assisting patients with scheduling future appointments and providing referral information
- Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing
- Collecting co-pays and deductibles as directed by billing policies
- Answering the appointment line and managing email appointment requests
