Job Description

Bureau Veritas is a global leader specializing in testing, inspection, and certification services, with a strong presence in a wide range of industries, including construction and retail environments. The company is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and compliance, providing comprehensive project management and consultancy services to ensure successful project executions. At the core of Bureau Veritas's mission is supporting clients in achieving operational excellence while adhering to the latest regulatory and safety standards. Established over decades, the firm has earned a reputation for professional integrity and client-focused service delivery, making it a trusted partner for complex industrial and commercial projects around the world.

The role offered is a Project Manager position primarily focused on managing airport retail and food and beverage concession projects located in West Palm Beach, FL. This position involves overseeing store refreshes, remodels, tenant improvements, brand rollouts, and new store buildouts within active airport environments, which makes project management uniquely challenging. The Project Manager acts as the liaison between various stakeholders such as airport authorities, concession operators, landlords, designers, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed with minimal disruption to ongoing airport operations.

This role demands a strong understanding of airport-specific operational requirements including security protocols, badging, and after-hours construction schedules. The candidate will lead projects from the initial design phase through permitting, construction, and project closeout, ensuring that each project meets schedule, budget, and quality standards. Handling multiple projects simultaneously requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks proactively.

In addition to managing construction activities in functional airport terminals, the Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating branded retail and food service rollouts and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. This requires an in-depth knowledge of retail rollout programs, tenant improvement construction, and compliance with building codes and regulations. The position also necessitates frequent travel throughout the United States, sometimes up to 50-90 percent of the time, according to project needs.

The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with strong project management credentials such as PMP certification being highly preferred. Experience with retail, restaurant, airport concession, hospitality, or multi-site renovation projects in operational environments is particularly valued. Strong skills in report writing, business communication, problem solving, and technology proficiency including project management software are essential for success.

Bureau Veritas offers a competitive salary starting at $100,000+, with an annual incentive bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-matched retirement plans, paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, tuition assistance, and more. As a company that values employee well-being and professional growth, Bureau Veritas fosters an inclusive work environment supporting career advancement, continuous learning, and work-life balance. If you are a driven Project Manager ready to contribute your expertise to challenging airport retail and concession projects in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is designed for you.
