They are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project teams and fostering a proactive safety culture on all job sites. Your duties will include managing bid package development, subcontractor negotiations, cost reporting, and project scheduling to ensure milestones and deadlines are consistently met. Coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout project phases will be routine, alongside overseeing project start-up, execution, and closeout activities. Financial oversight will be critical, requiring careful review of invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions. Additionally, you will monitor job site activities for compliance with plans and regulations, identify and mitigate risks and delays, and resolve conflicts proactively. Job Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare, life sciences, or medical office building projects preferred including knowledge of ICRA protocols
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex construction documents including drawings and specifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project is a plus
  • Solid understanding of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations
  • Experience coordinating with field teams, superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Familiarity with contract management and subcontractor agreements
  • High level of organization, accountability, and leadership capability
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Job Duties

  • Provide project leadership and implement proactive project safety culture
  • Manage development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals
  • Organize and lead job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure project goals are met
  • Review monthly invoices and oversee documentation approval for timely project funding
  • Lead cost reporting including contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to meet project goals
  • Ensure financial health of the project and accurate project forecasts
  • Represent the company in subcontract negotiations
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants through all project phases
  • Oversee project startup, execution, and closeout processes
  • Monitor jobsite activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost overruns
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders through project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ensure consistent quality control standards on all projects
  • Lead internal project team meetings providing clear direction to field staff
  • Track and manage procurement of materials and long-lead items
  • Resolve field issues and conflicts proactively
  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Support business development through client interaction and repeat work opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practices
