Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years in construction project management preferably in retail or hospitality
- Extensive knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Ability to travel extensively up to 80 percent of the time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budget and contract management
- Critical path scheduling experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience preferably in retail or hospitality
- Familiarity with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil design principles
- Knowledge of zoning, building codes, and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Expertise in critical path scheduling and proactive problem solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Extensive contract management and financial budgeting experience
- Understanding of supervision, organization, and administration practices
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality standards
Job Duties
- Oversee 20-25 remodels or new store openings per year
- Assist with construction-related items in pipeline across all brands
- Manage due diligence processes including site investigations, surveys, and geotechnical investigations
- Ensure compliance with zoning and building codes
- Represent brands at meetings with municipalities and regulatory authorities
- Supervise contractors including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Prepare weekly and interim project reports including budgeting and design review
- Plan, organize, control, integrate, and complete engineering projects
- Establish project scope, milestone schedules, and cost estimates
- Travel regularly to multiple project locations
- Control expenditures within project and departmental budgets
