Job Description

Flynn Restaurant Group is a prominent leader in the restaurant and quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, renowned for its multi-brand development and operational excellence across diverse geographical locations. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, Flynn Restaurant Group operates a vast portfolio that includes new constructions, remodels, and rebuilds of various dining establishments. The company's expansive reach and focus on efficient project execution allow it to support long-term strategic growth and maintain a strong market presence in the competitive food service sector. Flynn fosters a collaborative work environment by partnering closely with operational management, real estate professionals, and other key internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes that align with the company’s standards and goals.

The Restaurant/QSR Construction Project Manager role at Flynn Restaurant Group is a highly dynamic and pivotal position requiring extensive travel, estimated at 80%, to oversee construction activities across multiple brand locations. The primary focus is managing 20-25 remodel or new store openings annually, spanning various geographical regions. This position plays a crucial role in directing all construction phases from initial site investigation through project completion, including new construction, rebuilds, and remodels. The Project Manager brings deep technical expertise including structural, mechanical, electrical building systems, civil design, and utility integrations, ensuring compliance with zoning, building codes, and federal regulations relevant to store development.

The role demands a leader who can manage multiple projects concurrently, functioning as a liaison between internal teams and external entities such as municipalities and regulatory authorities during permitting and construction phases. The manager is responsible for supervising contractors through hiring, training, performance appraisals, and problem resolution, while maintaining strict adherence to organizational policies and quality standards. Additionally, the Project Manager prepares and presents detailed project reports covering budgeting, scheduling, and executive summaries to support both operational and financial governance.

Competency in project timeline management, milestone development, cost estimation, and contract negotiations form the foundation of successful project delivery. Proven ability to manage budgets and expenditures within set limits, proactively solve construction-related challenges, and communicate effectively with stakeholders distinguishes top-performing candidates in this role. Flynn Restaurant Group highly values leadership, organizational aptitude, and an eye for detail, all essential to uphold the company’s quality standards and achieve comprehensive project goals.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $125,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' health, financial security, and work-life balance. Flynn Restaurant Group emphasizes career growth and employee development, offering tuition reimbursement and flexible work schedules in addition to standard healthcare benefits. For professionals passionate about construction management within the restaurant industry and ready to embrace a travel-intensive role, this opportunity provides a stimulating environment to advance one’s career while contributing meaningfully to a top-tier restaurant group’s strategic expansion.
