With a strong reputation for quality and guest satisfaction, Great American Restaurants emphasizes innovation and excellence in both its culinary offerings and facility management. The company prides itself on fostering a collaborative work environment that supports growth, creativity, and continuous improvement. As part of its ongoing expansion and dedication to operational excellence, Great American Restaurants is seeking a skilled Construction & Facilities Project Manager to oversee the execution of construction and facility maintenance projects. This pivotal role directly supports the company’s strategic objectives by ensuring that all buildouts, remodels, and repairs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
The Construction & Facilities Project Manager position is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating contractors, and ensuring compliance with the company’s established codes and standards. The successful candidate will be the primary onsite leader for various construction projects, remodels, and special initiatives, providing regular updates and ensuring smooth collaboration between Construction, Operations, and external partners such as architects and engineers. The role also involves active participation in the Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) program, playing a key part in troubleshooting facility issues, evaluating repair versus replacement options, and supporting the budgeting process with insightful field assessments.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $175,000, reflective of the experience and expertise required. It provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company renowned for its commitment to quality, operational integrity, and guest satisfaction. The Construction & Facilities Project Manager will be instrumental in guaranteeing that all construction and maintenance activities uphold the high standards of durability and asset protection that Great American Restaurants demands. Candidates with a minimum of five years’ experience in commercial construction or facilities maintenance, and preferably with a background in restaurant or hospitality environments, will find this role both challenging and rewarding.
In summary, this role is critical to ensuring that Great American Restaurants' physical assets support the company’s broader business goals by maintaining operational readiness and fostering a safe, efficient working environment across all sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction methods and building systems, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and care. This role is perfectly suited for a proactive professional seeking to advance their career with a reputable brand in the food service industry.
