Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning services
- familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment
- ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail
- ability to pass background check for a federal facility
- capability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stand, bend, or kneel frequently
Job Duties
- Prepare basic cleaning reports such as cleaning inspections and inventory
- clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing
- clean windows and mirrors and supply restrooms
- remove waste and empty trash bins
- maintain the cleaning cart indicating areas cleaned and inspected
- replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
- organize cleaning storage areas
- notify supervisors about unsafe or concerning conditions requiring repairs or maintenance
- vacuum carpets and rugs, sweep or mop the floor, and clean tiles
