Job Description

Alliance Mobile is one of the largest AT&T National Authorized Retailers in the United States, operating over 350 locations across 26 states. Renowned for providing wireless and entertainment products, Alliance Mobile focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences in every interaction. The company values every individual as a key contributor to its success and continually earns recognition as a Top Place to Work. Alliance Mobile strives to be highly valued by its carrier partners, respected by communities, admired by competitors, and preferred by customers. The company culture is rooted in strong values that emphasize motivation, professionalism, and a passion for success. The Orlando, FL area-based Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, complemented by a performance-based commission, amounting to approximately 50 percent of the total compensation opportunity. This is a full-time, remote field sales position requiring daily travel within the assigned market, reflecting a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

The Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager position is a revenue-driven field role focused on generating new subscriber activations through AT&T's Connected Communities (ACC) program and Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) properties. The manager's dual responsibilities encompass sales outreach in non-traditional environments and leading off-site sales events within the local market. This role reports directly to the Market Director and collaborates closely with AT&T Connected Communities Account Managers, retail store teams, and the AT&T New AT&T Customer (NAC) Call Center. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and outgoing sales professional who excels at building strong relationships, thrives in field-based roles, and has a proven ability to drive results outside the traditional retail setting.

The primary function involves prospecting and engaging new and existing residents within ACC properties and MDUs, focusing on customers in wireless, fiber internet, and DIRECTV Stream services. The role demands a high level of activity, including conducting a minimum of 20 property visits and organizing at least 2 onsite resident events weekly. The manager is responsible for managing a robust pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring steady lead volume and high conversion rates by transferring prospects to the NAC Call Center for order activation. Daily follow-ups with prospects and current customers are essential, along with meticulously maintaining account notes about renewal eligibility and additional service opportunities. Moreover, the role requires establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with property management and AT&T account teams. The manager prepares monthly action plans and performance reports to align objectives with operational reviews.

As the Events Lead for the assigned market, the Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager plans, schedules, and executes sales events and activations at various non-traditional venues, including shopping centers, farmers markets, municipal locations, corporate campuses, and community events. Collaboration with AT&T Account Representatives to secure event placements on the AT&T calendar is vital, alongside independently managing events when needed. The role involves staffing events personally or coordinating associates to ensure successful execution, tracking event outcomes related to activations, leads, and contributions to gross profit. Continuous expansion of the event calendar is encouraged to maximize sales potential beyond physical store locations.

Performance and reporting responsibilities include maintaining weekly and monthly metrics against lead generation, transfer goals, and activation targets. The manager submits accurate sales forecasts and expense reports and completes mandatory AT&T training modules regularly. Proactive communication with the Market Director regarding performance updates, challenges, and opportunities is crucial for sustained success in this role. Overall, the Connected Communities Sales & Events Manager offers a unique blend of sales, event leadership, and relationship management in an engaging, community-focused, and results-oriented environment.
