Job Description
The Westin Nashville is a prestigious hotel renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through distinguished service and luxurious accommodations. Located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, this hotel is part of the globally recognized Westin brand under Marriott International, known for its high hospitality standards and innovative guest services. The Westin Nashville offers a diverse range of facilities including elegant meeting spaces, state-of-the-art event venues, and fine dining options, catering to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel prides itself on creating meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences, not only for its guests but also for its dedicated team members who are supported in their professional growth and career development.
As a Conference Services Manager at The Westin Nashville, you will play an integral role in the successful execution of meetings, conferences, and special events. Your primary responsibility will be acting as the essential liaison between clients and the hotel’s operations teams, ensuring every event is delivered with the precision and thoughtfulness synonymous with the Westin brand. This dynamic and highly visible position requires you to coordinate all facets of event planning and management—from initial consultation and detailed logistics planning to flawless execution and post-event follow-through.
In this role, you will be working closely with guests, event planners, and various hotel departments such as Sales, Food & Beverage, and Operations, fostering collaboration to ensure seamless event experiences that exceed client expectations. The position demands strong problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Whether it’s managing multiple events concurrently or responding flexibly to spontaneous client needs, your expertise will be key to transforming event visions into reality.
The Westin Nashville embraces career development as a core value, offering career advancement opportunities to over half of its associates who move into new roles within the company. You will find a supportive leadership team dedicated to helping you succeed, alongside benefits designed to enhance your overall well-being. These benefits include free parking for full-time associates, complimentary meals, travel and accommodation discounts across Marriott’s extensive network, and exclusive offers on rentals, attractions, and technology. The work culture encourages recognition and celebration, hosting associate appreciation events throughout the year, making The Westin Nashville not only a workplace but a community.
By joining The Westin Nashville as a Conference Services Manager, you are stepping into a role where exceptional service delivery, relationship-building, and professional growth intersect. This role is exempt and reports directly to the Director of Sales. You will be part of an inclusive workplace committed to diversity, equity, and environmental responsibility, ensuring that your work supports broader social and business goals. Your ability to maintain attention to detail while efficiently managing complex event operations will contribute significantly to the hotel’s reputation for excellence and guest satisfaction, making your career experience both rewarding and impactful.
