Job Requirements
- Bachelors or associates degree in a related field preferred
- 1 to 3 years of hospitality or tourism experience in a front office or sales and catering role
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to read and interpret documents
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- capability to handle objects up to 15 pounds
- willingness to maintain confidentiality
- adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner
- work with the client and in-house departments for servicing and coordination of group related business from Sales Departments
- collaborate closely with group sales managers to ensure smooth transition of client needs
- handle all details of definite groups including menu planning, up selling food and beverage, issuing banquet event orders, obtaining guarantees and changes, distributing group resumes, coordinating VIPs, client introductions, and rooming lists
- manage block detailing including porterage, gift bag drops and other special needs
- handle billing procedures and related matters from point of sale to event execution
- ensure accuracy of information in Delphi for rooms, food and beverage, and rental forecasting
- attend weekly BEO, sales, and resume meetings
- input feedback in Delphi account notes to enhance guest service for repeat business
- resolve billing questions and work with accounting, reviewing billing with onsite clients daily
- attend client meetings and entertain clients with Sales Manager as necessary
- assist with administrative duties such as faxing, filing, copying, scanning
- maintain accurate filing, record keeping, and data entry
- maintain confidentiality of employer and vendor information
- maintain professional appearance and uniform standards
- promote positive communication and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors
- follow all hotel policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales
