Job Description
Gartner, Inc. is a leading global research and advisory company that empowers business leaders with expert analysis, insights, and guidance to drive critical decisions in the technology and business sectors. Founded in 1979, Gartner has grown to support over 13,000 client enterprises across approximately 90 countries, employing around 20,000 associates worldwide. Known for its high-impact work and intellectual rigor, Gartner serves as a trusted voice providing objective, actionable advice to help enterprises achieve their mission-critical objectives. Gartner's corporate culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, diversity, and leadership development, making it a distinguished workplace recognized globally for its inclusive environment and exceptional growth opportunities.
The role of the Creative Journey and Branding Lead within Gartner's Global Creative Journey and Branding Team is pivotal in shaping the attendee experience across a wide portfolio of Gartner's client-facing global conferences and business unit events. This position involves strategic leadership and creative vision with a hands-on approach to managing the planning, development, and execution of onsite branding and attendee engagement initiatives. The incumbent will drive the creative journey from inception through delivery, ensuring that every touchpoint - from environmental design to digital interaction - aligns with Gartner's brand standards and enhances the conference experience for attendees, clients, and prospects alike.
The Creative Journey and Branding Lead will collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders including the Conference Center of Excellence teams, as well as external vendors and agency partners, to ensure seamless integration of branding and experience elements. This role requires a seasoned professional who possesses a blend of creativity, operational expertise, and project management prowess to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, actively mentoring junior team members and implementing best practices that ensure consistency and scalability across events.
A critical component of this role is effective budget management, including forecasting, cost control, contract negotiations, and resource allocation, reflecting Gartner’s commitment to strong financial stewardship. The lead is also responsible for cultivating strong vendor partnerships that deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative solutions. Alongside managing onsite and virtual event components, the role demands excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills that promote collaboration and ensure that events not only meet but exceed business expectations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced creative and operational leader passionate about event management, branding, and experiential marketing to play an instrumental part in the global conference strategy of a market-leading company. Gartner offers a competitive salary range between $70,000 and $104,000 per year, along with an attractive benefits package that includes paid time off, 401(k) matching, stock purchase plans, and more. The position embraces a hybrid working environment and requires a willingness to travel approximately 30% within North America. Gartner is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants.
