Job Duties

  • Act as first point of contact for client looking to schedule meetings and events in Taft’s conference centers
  • Partner with clients to understand goals, requirements, and expectations for each event
  • Manage Maptician for client and community activity requests
  • Coordinate with IT to set up video conferencing and audio needs, communicate with Office Services team for timely meeting setups and breakdowns
  • Submit event receipts and invoices via LMS for processing
  • Order and coordinate food and beverage for client meetings and events as needed
  • Coordinate staffing for after-hours events
  • Plan and execute large-scale internal events such as Office Holiday Party, Administrative Professionals week, Taft Family Day
  • Work with the Operations, Business Development, and Professional Development Teams to coordinate smaller internal events including in-office I&O activities
  • Liaise with practice group leaders and legal assistants in coordination of teambuilding events and provide support as needed
  • Maintain inventory for both conference centers
  • Assist with hospitality tasks such as backup reception coverage, stocking conference rooms, and placing maintenance requests through Commercial Café
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support duties as needed
