Job Description

The Dallas Fort Worth Embassy Suites is a respected full-service hotel known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and providing a versatile venue for conferences and events. As part of the broader Atrium Hospitality group, the Embassy Suites emphasizes its core values of Service, Perseverance, Inclusion, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. This establishment has gained recognition for its outstanding customer service, beautiful event spaces, and seamless event execution. Atrium Hospitality, the parent company, is renowned for nurturing internal talent with 40% of management positions filled through internal promotions, offering an encouraging environment for career growth and development. Employees benefit from a supportive culture that values collaboration and continuous learning while providing a broad spectrum of benefits such as comprehensive health coverage and wellness programs.

We are currently seeking a skilled Conference & Event Manager to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. This role offers a competitive hourly pay of $26.25, commensurate with experience, and calls for a professional who excels in managing all aspects of event planning and execution. As a Conference & Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable event experiences by working closely with clients, understanding their vision, and delivering exceptional service from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include leading banquet coordination efforts, ensuring timely creation and distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and proactively identifying upselling opportunities that drive revenue growth. Meticulous attention to detail will be essential as you monitor guestroom blocks, manage the event payment process thoroughly, and coordinate all logistics related to event execution. Moreover, your role will involve leading site tours, conducting detailed pre- and post-event meetings, and supporting sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue checks and sales activities.

This position requires a confident communicator with strong technological skills, particularly experience using BEO and diagramming tools, as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Flexibility is crucial, as you will be expected to handle events that extend beyond traditional business hours, ensuring even the most complex event details are flawlessly managed. Having at least two years of event services experience will help ensure your success in this role, while a solid understanding of both group and social event segments will allow you to tailor exceptional experiences that resonate with a diverse clientele. You'll become a vital link between clients and the hotel, delivering customized service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Joining the Embassy Suites under Atrium Hospitality means more than just a job; it’s joining a community dedicated to excellence and mutual support. Employees enjoy an array of benefits including a 401(k) plan with a company match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and access to exclusive brand discounts. Additionally, the company offers daily pay options, wellness programs to promote a healthy lifestyle, tuition reimbursement opportunities for ongoing education, and various discounts on popular brands and services. Our inclusive culture fosters respect and innovation, ensuring that every team member can contribute meaningfully and grow professionally. Dionne C., a Sales Coordinator within the team, shares that being part of this team means consistently delivering exceptional client experiences and receiving recognition for contributions, underscoring a positive and supportive workplace environment.
