Job Requirements

  • WA state food handler's card
  • Minimum 2 years pastry experience
  • College degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of pastries, cakes, and confections
  • Bake and present a variety of desserts
  • Collaborate with Pastry Chefs to develop new recipes and techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages
  • Support the pastry team during busy service periods
