Job Description

Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is a well-established and highly respected privately-held company in the concrete and building materials industry. Celebrating over 30 years in business, this family-oriented company has long been recognized as one of the leading ready-mix concrete suppliers throughout Florida. Maschmeyer Concrete takes great pride in its people, emphasizing the importance of building strong customer and team relationships through the relentless pursuit of its mission and core values. As a company deeply committed to fostering a superior work environment, Maschmeyer Concrete offers a family atmosphere where employees are valued and supported, making it an excellent place to build a long-term career. Maschmeyer Concrete also strongly supports diversity and inclusion by ensuring equal employment opportunities and maintaining a drug-free workplace. They participate in E-Verify to confirm employment authorization for all new hires and prohibit discrimination or harassment of any kind based on various protected categories including race, religion, gender, and more.

The role available is for Concrete Delivery Professionals to join their teams at Ready-Mix Concrete Plants in major cities throughout Florida. These positions are perfect for motivated and dependable individuals interested in becoming part of a fast-growing company. While prior experience in ready-mix concrete or construction industries is preferred, it is not required, allowing new entrants into the industry to apply and grow within the company. Concrete Delivery Professionals are responsible for safely operating mixer trucks to deliver concrete to customers' job sites efficiently and accurately. This involves attaching chutes, operating concrete discharge controls, monitoring the condition of the drum to ensure the product meets customer specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle at all times.

This role offers a highly competitive hourly wage along with frequent opportunities for overtime, ensuring earning potential is maximized. Employees benefit from weekly direct deposit for easy and reliable payment processing. Additionally, there are excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance plans available, including company-paid basic life insurance and long-term disability coverage. Other benefits include participation in a 401K retirement plan with company matching contributions, paid holidays throughout the year, and weekly accrued paid time off (PTO) to support a healthy work-life balance.

The work schedule typically requires availability six days per week, Monday through Saturday, with the advantage of being home every night. Communication skills are important for this job, as employees will interact with customers, dispatchers, and fellow team members to provide excellent service and support. Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A or B license and maintain a driving record that meets company standards. The company emphasizes safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction as keys to success in this role. Joining Maschmeyer Concrete as a Concrete Delivery Professional means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, customer care, and personal growth within a stable and respected industry leader.
