The role of Concierge at Solstice at Normandy Park is integral to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere of the community. This position offers flexibility to cover the front desk and assist culinary services seven days a week, from 10:30am to 7:00pm, on an on-call basis. The Concierge acts as the initial point of contact for guests, residents, and employees, providing friendly greetings, managing both external and internal communications, and handling inquiries with professionalism and care. This role requires multitasking skills that include answering and transferring calls, taking complete messages, providing directions, and supporting the administrative needs of the community. Responsibilities also encompass preparing meal tickets, maintaining up-to-date resident records, managing appointments, and organizing mail distribution. The role emphasizes maintaining a neat, organized entry area conducive to a positive visitor and resident experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are customer-service oriented, detail-focused, and eager to contribute to a team aimed at enhancing the senior living environment.

Job Duties

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
  • takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
  • greets residents and visitors
  • answers inquiries and gives directions
  • collates brochures for the marketing department
  • prepares meal tickets for team members and family members and tallies meal count sheets for the dining staff
  • updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily
  • manages appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
  • organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
  • maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
  • maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
  • performs other duties as assigned
