Job Requirements
- Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to provide directions and information in an age appropriate manner
- Problem solving skills
- Multi-tasking ability
- Ability to identify and overcome language barriers
- Knowledge of Sharp Mary Birch and Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus walkways and services
- Ability to utilize service recovery techniques
- Attend meetings and participate in problem identification and solution
- Ability to educate incoming patients on the admitting process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Experience in dealing with multiple demands simultaneously
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to provide age appropriate directions and information
- Effective problem solving and multitasking skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to read and write in Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers
- Offer personalized assistance, guidance, and information to visitors and patients
- Maintain safe and clean lobby environment
- Manage wheelchairs, visitor guides, maps, and signage
- Oversee lost and found and ensure front desk records are accurate
- Escort patients and arrange transportation as needed
- Collaborate with front desk staff to develop standardized practices and improve service
- Train and orient volunteers and new front desk staff on policies and procedures
