The role of Concierge/Housekeeper at MorningStar Senior Living is a part-time position that offers an overnight schedule, requiring availability for two nights per week. The pay range for this role is between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour, reflecting the company's recognition of the importance of this position. The Concierge/Housekeeper serves a vital function in the community by greeting and assisting visitors, families, and residents, ensuring that the front desk operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires the handling of various administrative tasks such as answering telephones, providing information, taking messages, sorting and distributing mail, typing, filing correspondence, and managing other office duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year front desk or reception related experience preferred
  • ability to use office equipment including computers, copy machines, and telephone systems
  • excellent communication skills
  • friendly and compassionate demeanor
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • availability to work overnight shifts two nights per week

  • experience: at least one year preferred of front desk/reception related experience
  • education: high school or equivalent preferred but not required
  • job knowledge: typing, filing, use of copy machine, telephone systems, intercommunication system and office equipment
  • be knowledgeable regarding resident rights, confidentiality, how to meet the public and answer questions, employee handbook and census
  • other: be friendly, courteous, patient, understanding, and work well with people including staff, residents, and families
  • meet deadlines, organize, and prioritize the workload

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and family members and provide non-confidential information requested
