The role of the Concierge at The Waters is pivotal in fostering this welcoming atmosphere. This position serves as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and team members, symbolizing the face of the community. The Concierge is responsible for addressing the needs and requests of those within the community promptly and professionally, ensuring that everyone feels valued and cared for. This role also involves managing hubs of activity and social engagement among residents, coordinating events, and facilitating communication between residents and their families and friends.

With scheduled work every other weekend from 2 PM to 8 PM, this position demands a warm, approachable personality, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate has advanced education in hospitality or a related field and brings at least two years of experience in a concierge or similar role. Their focus is on creating a fun, engaging, and caring environment where seniors and their loved ones feel at home and supported. Innovation is encouraged, and the Concierge is expected to contribute ideas and assist in implementing new ways to enhance resident and guest experiences.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a concierge or in a related position
  • Advanced education in hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent hospitality to seniors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to create an engaging and caring environment
  • Availability to work every other weekend from 2 PM to 8 PM

Job Duties

  • Take care of the needs and requests of residents and guests
  • Act as the main point of contact for information or assistance in the community
  • Serve as the face of the community

  • Respond to guest and team member requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new, innovative ways to enhance residents’, families’, and guests’ experiences
  • Engage with residents’ family and friends and take time to visit with them
