The Concierge | Hospitality Assistant role at Ciela Senior Living is a full-time, mid-level position focused on providing an inviting and warm atmosphere for residents and guests. This position is integral in ensuring excellent customer service and hospitality within the dining room, café, and common areas, always upholding the community’s high standards. The role combines several responsibilities, including assisting with resident activities, driving residents to appointments and events, dining service support, housekeeping duties, and general community support. The assistant helps with setting up and cleaning activity areas, assisting with resident outings, and ensuring safety and comfort during transportation using community vehicles.
In the hospitality realm, the Concierge | Hospitality Assistant greets and assists residents and guests in various dining settings, supports table service by busings and resetting tables, and maintains a well-stocked café area. Housekeeping responsibilities include keeping key community areas clean, dusted, and organized using appropriate safety measures. This role also requires active participation in team meetings, training sessions, and upholding resident rights alongside company policies.
The position requires at least 21 years of age, a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within a specified timeframe after hiring. Previous experience with seniors in a senior living environment and professional driving experience handling passenger transport are preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the capacity to manage fluctuating daily tasks effectively. Maintaining current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler credentials is mandatory, along with proficiency in basic computer skills like Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within specified timeframe after hire
- 1 year of professional driving experience in client transport
- Previous senior living experience preferred
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- CNA or experience with elderly care preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid credentials
- Current Food Handler credentials
- Annual continuing education credits
- Proficiency in basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to represent the community professionally
- Must meet health-related state licensure requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug, TB testing, and criminal clearance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience transporting clients
- Previous experience in senior living or similar environment preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- CPR and First Aid credentials
- Food Handler certification
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Basic computer skills including Word and Excel preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Commitment to representing the community professionally
Job Duties
- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for residents and guests
- Assist with setting up, cleaning, and maintaining resident activity areas
- Transport residents to appointments, community outings, and events
- Assist residents with mobility devices during transport
- Maintain cleanliness and operational condition of community vehicles
- Greet residents and guests in dining areas and assist with table seating
- Bus, clear, and reset dining tables
- Maintain café area stocked and clean
- Ensure key community areas are cleaned, dusted, and vacuumed
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- Uphold resident rights and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
