The W Insider Concierge role is critical in delivering the brand's promise of "Whatever/Whenever" service. Stationed at the Whatever/Whenever Desk, the Concierge is the direct link between guests and the vibrant experiences Miami has to offer. This full-time, non-management position requires a charismatic and knowledgeable individual who thrives on guest interaction and has a deep understanding of local culture and events. The Concierge's primary mission is to transform simple inquiries like "Where should I go?" into unforgettable experiences by recommending and securing access to the city’s hottest dining spots, exclusive parties, VIP events, and transportation services.
This role goes beyond traditional concierge duties by acting as a real-time connector to the city’s pulse, requiring someone who is proactive, resourceful, and able to provide bespoke recommendations tailored to individual guest preferences. The W Insider Concierge is expected to maintain and nurture a curated network of local vendors and partners to deliver unique and exclusive guest experiences. Responsiveness, discretion, and a stylish presence at the desk embodying the W brand spirit are also essential aspects of the job.
Committed to continuous improvement, this role involves logging guest feedback and requests for smooth handoffs within the team and following up on guest satisfaction throughout their stay. The position requires the employee to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during their shift and the ability to handle physical tasks such as moving or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years’ experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area, or a degree from an accredited university
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to handle direct guest interaction
- Must maintain discretion and protect guest privacy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area, or a degree from an accredited university
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties
- Engage actively with guests to build rapport and deliver thoughtful, elevated, and meaningful guest interactions
- Greet and assist guests in the lobby as needed, offering directions, insights, and support
- Respond to inquiries about property amenities, attractions, and events
- Maintain a curated database of local vendors, contacts, and partners
- Stay ahead of city events, seasonal activities, and new openings to be able to provide customized recommendations to guests
- Share maps, brochures, and custom recommendations
- Manage vendor relationships to secure exclusive guest access
