The Concierge role at Bedrock is a vital part of providing an exceptional and service-oriented experience within the organization’s residential and corporate environments. This position combines hospitality and administrative skills to ensure that residents, guests, visitors, executives, team members, vendors, and clients are welcomed in a professional and warm manner. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for the Vinton residential community as well as supporting Bedrock’s headquarters welcome desk. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, managing front desk communications, responding to resident requests, and providing organizational support that enhances the daily operations of both residential and corporate settings. The Concierge will coordinate reception activities, maintain an inviting and organized environment, assist with event and meeting support, and work collaboratively with internal teams to address and resolve various requests.
This position requires someone with a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of residents and guests. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professionalism at all times is essential. The Concierge will also support administrative tasks such as handling mail and packages, visitor check-in procedures, vendor coordination, and inventory management. Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 1-3+ years of customer service, hospitality, receptionist, administrative, concierge, or related experience preferred
- experience in hospitality or residential concierge service preferred
- able to work assigned shift of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities and provide high-quality service
- basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer systems
- experience with visitor management systems preferred
- knowledge of downtown Detroit restaurants, events, and local resources preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends or adjusted shifts as needed

Job Duties
- Greet residents, guests, visitors, clients, vendors, executives, and team members in a professional and welcoming manner
- provide wayfinding assistance and direct visitors to appropriate destinations
- answer and route incoming calls, monitor voicemail, and relay messages
- support visitor check-in process including coordination with security and maintaining records
- assist with visitor identification, access coordination, and badge issuance
- coordinate services to support resident and guest requests, escalating as needed
- maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and common areas
- coordinate mail and package handling including sorting and distribution
- assist with conference room and meeting support including scheduling and hospitality services
- support daily office administrative tasks and communication with internal teams
- collaborate with internal teams to follow procedures and suggest workflow improvements
- support vendor communication and coordination
- monitor and organize office and hospitality supply inventory
- assist with onboarding coordination and administrative support
- maintain logs and reports for resident requests and visitor activity
- model a professional and service-oriented presence maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- perform other duties as assigned
