With a focus on sustainable development and resident engagement, Holland Partner Group is dedicated to enhancing the living experience through proactive management and thoughtful community programming.
The Torrey, located in San Diego, California, is a lease-up community managed by Holland Residential and is currently seeking an adaptable and customer service-oriented Concierge to join their growing team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $28.00, with additional bonus potential. The role of Concierge at The Torrey is vital in creating an exceptional resident experience by serving as the welcoming face of the community and providing comprehensive customer support.
The Concierge acts as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors, offering information about the community both in person and via telephone, while representing Holland Residential with professionalism and friendliness. Key responsibilities include greeting visitors, assisting residents with various requests, distributing deliveries, and serving as a liaison between residents and management to ensure effective communication and prompt issue resolution. This role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of community information, including pricing, availability, unit floor plans, and amenities, as well as monitoring the condition of vacant units, models, common areas, and office spaces.
The Concierge collaborates with management to support marketing efforts, develop promotional activities, and participate in leasing programs designed to attract and retain residents. Proactive community involvement is essential, including participation in recreational and social activities, organizing neighborhood events, and creating community newsletters. An understanding of Fair Housing principles, landlord-tenant laws, and adherence to community operating budgets are important aspects of this role.
The position demands flexibility with scheduling, as the Concierge must be available to work any day of the week throughout the year and be ready to serve on-call as needed. Physical requirements include the ability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds and operate basic office equipment. The role may also involve transporting customers, tools, or supplies around the property using a personal or company-provided vehicle, with an emphasis on safety.
Holland Residential emphasizes high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork. The Concierge is expected to maintain positive relationships with administrative and maintenance staff to foster excellent internal customer service and accountability. Employees are required to comply with company safety programs, policies, and procedures while also participating in ongoing training to support professional development.
Holland offers an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, long-term disability coverage, retirement savings plans with employer match, and supplemental benefits such as accident and critical illness insurance. Additional perks include tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, paid time off, paid holidays, volunteer time off, sabbaticals, and profit-sharing opportunities. Some properties may also offer housing discounts. This comprehensive compensation package reflects Holland Partner Group’s dedication to supporting the health, well-being, and growth of its employees.
