The role of Concierge at The Inn at Spanish Bay is integral to delivering the highest standard of guest service, focusing specifically on creating an outstanding arrival and in-stay experience for guests and day visitors. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.40 per hour plus service charges, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality. As a Concierge, you will be the welcoming face and guiding resource for guests, assisting them with their bookings for dining, spa treatments, golf tee times, tours, transportation, and other activities. Key responsibilities include escorting guests to their rooms upon arrival, managing multiple requests efficiently amidst a fast-paced environment, and ensuring that every interaction exceeds guest expectations in alignment with the company’s mission to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience every time.
The position demands physical stamina as it involves frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 pounds. A successful concierge at Pebble Beach must be highly organized and adept at multitasking while maintaining a poised and professional demeanor. Teamwork and problem-solving skills are vital, as well as a genuine passion for serving people and enhancing their stay by utilizing deep knowledge of the resort and the Monterey Peninsula. Candidates with familiarity with systems like Springer Miller, HotSOS, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel are preferred, as these tools support the execution of daily operations and guest service excellence.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to handle large volume of tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment such as walking and standing excessively and lifting/pushing/pulling 20-75 lbs. frequently

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality or concierge experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Pebble Beach Resorts and Monterey Peninsula desired
- Familiarity with Springer Miller System, HotSOS, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel preferred
- Team-oriented and problem-solving mindset
Job Duties
- Escort guests to their room upon arrival
- Recommend and assist in booking dining, spa, golf, tours/activities, transportation
- Balance a high level of multitasking and complete checklists at the guest services desk
- Accurately record outgoing and incoming shipping
- Frequently lift 50 lbs. or more
- Anticipate guest needs and recommend options using resort and Monterey Peninsula knowledge
