This role is critical as it serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, family members, and staff, both in person and via telephone. The Concierge/Receptionist acts as the welcoming face and voice of the community, establishing a warm and friendly atmosphere from the moment someone enters or reaches the community. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience answering telephones or in a customer service position
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, and visitors
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
  • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
  • Must practice and promote Meridian policies and procedures, mission statement, core values and founding principles
  • Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner either in person or over the phone
  • Create a welcoming environment as the first contact guests have when entering the community
  • Answer telephone calls and direct them to appropriate departments or personnel
  • Provide assistance and information to residents, family members, and visitors
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing records
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and staff
  • Support and promote Meridian Senior Living policies, mission, and core values
