The role of Concierge Shift Lead at Larksfield Place is a full-time, third-shift position running from midnight to 8:00 AM, including rotating on-call coverage. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Services team during overnight hours. The Concierge Shift Lead acts as the on-shift leader who manages staffing logistics, delegates tasks, and provides real-time coaching and support to concierge staff. You will be instrumental in monitoring shift performance, documenting service requests, preparing incident reports, and escalating unresolved issues to management when necessary. This leadership role also involves supporting new employee training and onboarding, offering mentorship to foster professional growth and reinforcing Larksfield Place’s culture and values. The position requires accountability for safety protocols, policy compliance, and regulatory standards across shift operations.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Concierge Shift Lead assists with departmental administrative tasks such as tracking expenses and scheduling to ensure efficient resource management. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least three years of experience in hospitality, concierge, customer service, or related leadership roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with standard office equipment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pass a physical exam
  • Meet vaccination and TB screening requirements

Job Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of experience in hospitality, concierge, customer service, or related fields
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Experience using standard office equipment (e.g., computer, copier, phone systems)
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • additional hospitality or leadership training preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass a physical exam and meet all vaccination and TB screening requirements

Job Duties

  • Serve as the on-shift leader for the Concierge Services team, ensuring seamless operations and timely issue resolution
  • Coordinate shift coverage, assignments, and task delegation to maintain service excellence
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to concierge staff, reinforcing communication protocols, service standards, and hospitality best practices
  • Monitor shift performance, document service requests and incident reports, and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed
  • Support new employee training and onboarding, offering ongoing mentorship while reinforcing company culture and professional development initiatives
  • Maintain accountability for safety procedures, policy compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Assist in tracking departmental expenses, scheduling, and minor administrative functions
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage, providing after-hours support for escalated concerns as scheduled
