Job Description
IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is a well-established and growing healthcare provider specializing in outpatient physical and hand therapy services based in Washington State. As a patient-focused company, IRG places a strong emphasis on human connection, exemplary patient care, and community involvement. The company prides itself on offering a local experience free from the oversight of national corporations, ensuring decisions that directly impact patient care are made by local teams who understand the community and its unique needs. IRG is deeply embedded in the communities it serves and continuously strives to positively influence the health and wellness of its patients through exceptional therapeutic services.
IRG is currently expanding its patient care department by seeking a Concierge Service Representative (CSR) to become a critical part of the team known as IRG Concierge Services. This position offers an exciting blend of customer service, sales, marketing, business development, and community involvement opportunities, making it distinct from typical customer service roles. The company culture is dynamic and supportive, fostering a sense of family among employees as they work together to deliver top-tier physical and hand therapy services to their community.
The Concierge Service Representative role centers on enhancing the patient experience by serving as the initial point of contact for patients. The CSR team manages incoming telephone calls, addressing general non-medical inquiries, processing incoming leads from faxed referrals, and efficiently scheduling patient appointments across IRG’s network of clinics. This crucial role supports patient communications and operational workflow by utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring smooth coordination between patients, physicians, and clinic staff. As this department continues to grow and evolve, there is flexibility in scheduling to accommodate expansion and new program launches.
Candidates who thrive in this position are those who love engaging with people and can establish meaningful connections through both virtual and telephone platforms. The ability to multitask effectively while maintaining empathy and professionalism is essential, along with excellent communication skills for collaborating with physicians, frontline staff, and patients. Proficiency with technology and digital tools like EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required to facilitate seamless patient scheduling and documentation.
Working at IRG means joining a company that values professional growth and offers various career advancement opportunities, including leadership training programs designed to enhance business skills. Employee well-being is prioritized through attractive benefits such as student loan assistance, paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, and retirement savings with employer matching. Employees are encouraged to get involved in their communities, mirroring the company’s mission of promoting health and wellness beyond just clinical care.
With a starting salary range of $18 to $24 per hour based on experience, the position balances competitive compensation with a work-life flexible environment. IRG is committed to maintaining workplace integrity, innovation, positivity, proficiency, and accountability, all while empowering both employees and patients to achieve their best selves. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a rewarding career that combines healthcare service delivery with opportunities for personal and professional development within a supportive, community-centered company environment.
