Job Description

With a focus on servant-leadership and a dedication to creating transformative experiences for both residents and employees, MorningStar Senior Living has built a reputation for compassionate and high-quality care within their communities. This organization emphasizes not just the delivery of services, but the importance of fostering a supportive environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference. The culture here is not just a buzzword but an obsession, ensuring an enriching workplace where individuals grow both personally and professionally while positively impacting the lives of seniors.

The part-time Concierge role at MorningStar Senior Living offers a unique opportunity for someone passionate about helping others and making positive contributions to the lives of seniors. The position pays between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour and operates on a PRN schedule (as needed/on call), providing flexibility and the chance to work in a supportive, mission-driven environment. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of the community, greeting visitors, residents, and family members with warmth and professionalism. The role involves a blend of administrative tasks—including answering telephone inquiries, sorting and distributing mail, managing correspondence, filing, and typing—coupled with a strong commitment to service, compassion, and confidentiality. Those in this position are responsible for maintaining resident privacy, adhering to federal and state regulations, and supporting the core values of the community. Furthermore, the Concierge acts as a liaison, offering helpful information when requested, escorting individuals to clients’ suites, and ensuring that everyone experiences an atmosphere of kindness and respect.

This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and an ability to effectively manage multiple tasks within a dynamic environment. Candidates are expected to have at least one year of front desk or reception experience, be proficient with office equipment such as computers, calculators, copy machines, and postage machines, and demonstrate knowledge of resident rights and company policies. High school education or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. MorningStar Senior Living also offers extensive benefits options for eligible team members, including health insurance, other insurance coverage, retirement plans, employee assistance, paid time off, career development, philanthropic opportunities, and more, ensuring that employees feel supported in their personal and professional lives. Working at MorningStar means being part of a family that values dedication, teamwork, and a genuine desire to improve lives every day.
