The community prides itself on a transformative culture that emphasizes compassion, respect, and servant leadership, fostering an environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported. MorningStar Senior Living is committed to excellence in senior care, offering a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home while addressing the unique needs of each resident with personalized attention and care. This company is a trusted name in the senior living industry, known for its dedication to creating meaningful connections and enhancing the quality of life for older adults.
The role of Overnight Concierge at MorningStar Senior Living is an important position designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of senior residents during the overnight hours. This part-time position offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and involves working the night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am on Sundays and Mondays, with additional PRN (on call) opportunities. The Overnight Concierge acts as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and visitors throughout the night, ensuring that the community remains safe, secure, and welcoming at all times. This role requires a blend of customer service expertise, administrative skills, and operational responsibilities to meet the diverse needs of the community during the quieter overnight hours.
Responsibilities include managing front desk operations, supporting residents with inquiries and non-confidential information, and maintaining high safety standards by monitoring security systems and securing all perimeter doors. The Overnight Concierge also takes on essential administrative tasks like preparing correspondence, operating office equipment, and managing transportation requests. Nighttime duties extend to maintaining the cleanliness and order of communal areas such as the lobby and bistro, restocking supplies, and ensuring effective communication during shift transitions.
This position is ideal for individuals who embody MorningStar’s core values of love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, and respect. The company seeks empathetic, friendly, and patient individuals who can demonstrate professional judgment while multitasking independently. Candidates with at least one year of front desk or reception experience are preferred, although having a high school diploma or equivalent is considered a plus but not mandatory.
MorningStar Senior Living values offering comprehensive benefits to their team members working 24 or more hours per week, including health, dental, and vision insurance, various other insurance options, a 401k plan with matching, paid time off, and career development opportunities. This role not only promises a fulfilling job where you can contribute significantly to the welfare of senior residents but also provides a supportive work environment committed to employee growth and well-being.
