The Concierge position at MorningStar Senior Living offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.50 per hour. Full-time schedules mainly cover evening hours from Sunday to Wednesday, while part-time options can be discussed during the interview process. As a Concierge, you will be the welcoming face of the community, responsible for greeting visitors, residents, and their families with warmth and care. This role requires excellent communication skills since you will be answering phone calls, providing information, and directing inquiries as necessary. Additional duties include sorting and distributing mail, handling correspondence, typing, filing, and maintaining records. The position demands adherence to strict federal and state regulations alongside company policies to protect residents' rights and confidentiality. You will also be expected to use various office equipment such as computers, copy machines, postage machines, and calculators effectively.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of front desk or reception-related experience preferred
  • familiarity with office equipment and telephone systems
  • knowledge of resident rights and confidentiality
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work evenings from Sunday to Wednesday for full-time
  • friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
  • ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstration of core values including love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
  • at least one year preferred of front desk or reception-related experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • knowledge of typing, filing, use of copy machine, telephone systems, intercommunication system and office equipment
  • familiarity with resident rights, confidentiality, answering questions, employee handbook, and census
  • friendly, courteous, patient, understanding, and ability to work well with staff, residents, and families
  • ability to meet deadlines, organize and prioritize workload

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and family members and provide non-confidential information requested
